The new Blakeman Administration is examining the prior Administration’s reassessment and laws associated with its implementation to create a more fair, accurate and equitable system.

If you would like to challenge your assessment or property's classification or exemption status, you may file an “Application for Correction of Assessment” with the Assessment Review Commission between January 3, 2022 and March 1, 2022. The application and a publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment can be obtained on-line at nassaucountyny.gov/arc, in person at the Assessment Review Commission’s offices located at 240 Old Country Road on the 5th floor in Mineola, or by contacting ARC at (516) 571-3214 after January 3, 2022. The ARC’s hours of operation are from 9 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
